Dr. Hae Jin Hwang is research scientist of Engineering Ceramics Laboratory, Ceramic Science Department, National Industrial Research Institute of Nagoya (NIRIN), Agency of Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Japan.
He received his B.S. and M.S. in ceramic engineering in 1989 and 1991, both from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical process engineering in 1995 from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan. where he studied fabrication processes, microstructure and mechanical/dielectrical properties of ferroelectric ceramics-based nanocomposite under the supervision of professor Koichi Niihara.
