The prime objective of researches in our Department is to develop technology for designing and forming or machining materials, based on the understanding of the dependence of the micro and/or macro structures of materials on mechanical properties.

The Department consists of three laboratories, and each laboratory has been studying the topics in response to social and industrial needs.
