Introduction

The ceramic technology department aims at the use of the accumulated technology by centering on the pottery relation and advances research on materials which control and use the interface of ceramics. Concretely, a wall material which adjusts the humidity in a house is developed (joint research with 3 companies), the CO2 gas separation method at high temperature is examined, and system technology of fixation of the high temperature acidic gas (HCl etc.) is researched in cooperation with technological research union (9 companies). Moreover, a system which the osteoblast can proliferate on not the in-plant one shown in artificial bone and dental porcelain the surface of which is being constructed and research is turned to artificial internal organs development in the future is developed. The development of the forming technique of ceramics (joint research with a technological research union (4 companies)) is advanced for technological proof of the forming technique which is the kernel of manufacturing ceramics. In the background of these technological accumulation, international technological guidance and training (include JICA, JETRO, and ITIT business, etc.) concerning the resource, the raw material, the production abolition, and the environment are done. Moreover, a joint research with an official research institute is developing, too. In addition, we take charge of the management nucleus of the pottery industry union departmental meeting (conference of technological person in charge of pottery industry, conference of person in charge of pottery design, fine ceramic SC, and raw material and foundation SC) by which official research institute related to the pottery industry is generalized (secretariat) and the data book `Pottery industry raw material of Japan' without the example in the world is issued. Moreover, the ceramics color data base is constructed so that information is centered related to the pottery industry.
