Material Characterization Laboratory
Japanese Page

OUTLINE

The Material Characterization Laboratory develops new instruments and methodologies including Raman, mass spectrometry, internal friction, temperature imaging, for the characterization of newly developed ceramic materials and for the in-situ monitoring of material properties under actual process conditions.

Projects
  1. In-situ spectroscopic monitoring for exploring the origin of advanced inorganic materials under extreme conditions.
  2. Arrangement of the international technological infra-structure for promoting the application of advanced materials.@@
  3. Characterization and evaluation of properties of advanced inorganic materials.
  4. Elucidation of thermal degradation and elimination processes on inorganic/composite materials.
